As the mother parish of the Chicago Irish and the oldest public building in the city, not only does Saint Patrick's provide a lens through which to examine the Irish experience, but the parish's urban landscape tells the story of the city's growth and development. Topics range from the parish's influence on city art and architecture arid the Celtic revival to current St. Patrick's Day celebrations, including hosting the World's Largest Block Party.
