Disability Awareness Month: Recommended Reads for Adults (2021)

The Chicago Public Library celebrates Disability Awareness Month by recognizing the contributions and achievements of individuals with disabilities as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act Anniversary during the month of July. This recommended reading list from CPL’s Diversability Advocacy Committee shares books by authors with disabilities and featuring main characters with disabilities.
