Sarah J. Maas is an AMAZING author. She is the queen of planning ahead and foreshadowing and also torturing her readers. It kind of blows my mind how long she's been setting up this story for this book and the end of this series. It was an amazing ending to Aelin's story. Seriously this is one of the best books/book series I've ever read in my life. I was literally forcing myself to stop reading at points so it would last longer. 12/10 rating from me!! :D That being said, *SPOILERS AHEAD* I am a tiny bit angry with her for killing off all but one of the 13. Now it's just 1!! It really makes me sad because I felt that all of them dying was unnecessary. I know they needed to in order to break the curse and all that, but couldn't Asterin at least have stayed behind? I miss her! One more thing: When the cadre rescued Aelin from Maeve, I was totally expecting Aelin to just be immediately all right, and was annoyed when she wasn't. But as I kept reading, it was so much better realizing the imprisonment actually did affect her, because it made it more meaningful that she didn't break under the torture. Thanks for reading to my spiel! Read the Throne of Glass series, It's the GREATEST series in creation!!
