This is a great film featuring an amazing performance by Michael Keaton as Ray Kroc, "the founder" of fast-food behemoth McDonald's. The viewer comes away with a keener appreciation of the bizarre, vicious underpinning of our capitalist society. Kroc was a devotee of Norman Vincent Peal's THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING, which allowed him to paper over the widely practiced immorality of the American businessman, captured in the infamous Kroc quote: “It’s dog eat dog, rat eat rat. If my competitor were drowning, I’d walk over and put a hose right in his mouth.” The Weinstein Company makes reliably good movies.
