Ok my review: An entertaining fantasy read that is different from typical. One reviewer said it reminded them of 'Howls Moving Castle'. I could see that because it takes you on a journey into a world that is very unfamiliar but still identifiable. Boy escapes abusive uncle and ends up trapped in a wizard's town learning magic on the sly. I liked the idea of the story and loved the interactions with the books in the library. Addresses bullies, prejudging, and gaining confidence in yourself. It alternates points of views that might be disorienting to some. Biggest fault? It definitely feels like 400 pages. All in all, a solid book.
