I learned a lot from this book. I knew what intersex was but not that there were different types. I learned about AIS and it was very informative about the topic over all. I liked Kristen for most of the book -- it was difficult when she was struggling with depression and "running away" from her diagnosis but it was understandable. I could have done without the romance. I think it would have been more powerful if she had found acceptance in herself without him, but it was still good. The representation of trans and homophobia was good. It was a little slow and dragged out in places -- I would have liked a better ending than just her redoing her facebook. I would have liked to see her go to school or college or just...something else than facebook. But that's just me. Still an overall good book and very informative.
