I was just gonna deduct a star for featuring Creed on the soundtrack. The third (but not final) film in the "Scream" series isn't really necessary, but it's enjoyable enough. It's less clever and more formulaic than the first two, even as it becomes more self-aware and meta. The main characters all return, including Neve Campbell's Sidney, who is in hiding when the film begins. Perhaps the most entertaining part is Parker Posey, who is playing the Courtney Cox role in the film "Stab 3." Wes Craven directs again, but writer Kevin Williamson is only credited as a producer. Look for Roger Corman in a cameo.
