This was a lot of fun. I loved the banter between Grace and Holly, and Grace and Jack - especially the nicknames. There was a lot of sex (I really do mean a lot, at least ten different scenes and most of them couldn't be described as 'short'), very hot sex, and the first half was penetration free which was new for me. It was pretty obvious that this would be the first a series (what turned out to be a trilogy) as not that much happened. Well, as I said there was a lot of sex, but the characters didn't really move more than a few steps forward in life from where they were at the beginning of the book - Jack is still the same 24-year-old, hot new thing in Hollywood and Grace is the same 33-year-old looking for her second chance in the industry after a decade away 'getting her shit together'. The only thing that 'happens' is that love is declared by both parties. There's barely any conflict - Grace has issues stemming from her reasons for leaving Hollywood and the way she let herself go while she was back home, but she doesn't express these anxieties to Jack she just internalises them and puts them in her mental 'drawer' to be dealt with later (not a good idea, as Grace shows in the second book). As Grace herself describes it, they are in the 'love bubble' for pretty much the whole book. The book ends on a cliff hanger of how the couple will handle it with Grace in New York playing the lead role in an off Broadway show and Jack constantly busy with press for his upcoming movie. Basically, this was a happy, sex-filled book that sets us up for the more turbulent second book (I'm ten pages away from finishing that one, too).
