Most of us were probably not around back in 1938 when actor/director, Orson Welles had been a part of the "War of the Worlds" presentation (which was aired, coast-to-coast, on American radio). But, if we had been witness to this radio program back then - It's hard to imagine the inexplicable panic that it generated with numerous people in the listening audience. This fairly interesting documentary makes an honest effort to understand why this perplexing mass-hysteria occurred, especially since it resulted in the suicide of several people.
