Coaching Confidential

Inside the Fraternity of NFL Coaches

I read this some time ago before the BPL had it, so I may be sketchy on some of the details. This book is very good. You can get biographies about MANY football players, but there are not too many about coaches if for no other reason that they are smaller in numbers than players. What I got out of it is that as in all walks of life, coaches are individuals too and deal differently with the same situations. It is not about the nuts and bolts of game planning and strategizing; it gets into the minds and personal lives of several big-name coaches.
