A totally enjoyable read from page one to the very end. Details are rich but not over-done. History in 1921 after World War 1 comes to life of Paris and the grand days of trans-Atlantic crossings in beautiful ocean liners. Beautiful, that is, for the more well-to-do; for the underprivileged however, life in steerage was meagre and void of pleasantries. The three main characters in the book, all women, come from different classes but all are likeable characters and we become bonded with each of them. I will certainly be reading more of Dana Gynther's books, and can hardly wait for her next one.
