Whether you look up at the night sky, or look within, stars all around us, brighten our world. Expansive portrayals of the sky occur every few pages as children gaze ever upwards, drawing our gaze with them. The sky is simply painted, with subtle shifts in colour made to express its various moods. As it does this, the narration mirrors the tones of the heavens, ranging from playful, to retrospective, profound, fantastical and even joyous. For each of these, different types of stars get mentioned, including: a sheriff's badge made of paper, dandelion seeds blowing in the wind, fireworks, and most importantly, the star that is in each child's heart. This book dedicated to our most treasured symbol is full of heart and beauty.
