Love off- Limit – Whitney Lyles I love reading romantic comedies because it’s a very easy read & I never want to put the book down. I’m always curious of what is going to happen next. I also love books like this because the cover really grabs your attention; it’s so colourful & girly. LOVE Off- Limits by Whitney Lyles is about Natalie who is dating Jeremy, he’s totally perfect to everyone’s standard. But there is one problem; the sparks between Jeremy & Natalie are starting to disappear. Natalie starts doing a romance column with her editor Matt & she’s begins to like him but there’s one problem, Matt is Jeremy’s best friend. Natalie knows she can’t dump Jeremy because he’s having a hard time dealing with his parent’s divorce plus dumping someone for their best friend is just cruel. This book was really predictable and it wasn’t realistic, most of things that happened in the book would never occur in real life but I guess that’s why they call it fiction. In my opinion there weren’t a lot of twists, by the time I was half way through the book, I could guess how the book was going to end. During my read, I met Natalie’s friends who made the read more fun because they had issues of their own too. In my opinion I think the author could’ve developed the characters more even if it meant that the book would’ve been a little bit longer. I would recommend this to people who don’t really mind reading corny but amusing books. I would recommend this to children 12 and up, it would be an amazing read for pre-teens and teenagers.
