Earlier this year, I read Sophocles' *Antigone* and really enjoyed it. So, I decided to read Sophocles' earlier play, *Oedipus The King* which was written circa 429 BC. Hopefully without giving too much away, I can say that this short play is based on the ancient Oedipus myth whose two central themes involve our relationship to fate and karma. *Antigone,* although written first, is actually the last play in the famous *Theban* plays.
