Watchable, but nothing like you'd expect. I wouldn't bother with watching it a second time, that's for sure.

Lots of tense build up to the action. Clever dialogue. Quirky and weird, but in a good way.

I loved the premise and the acting for this movie. But at the same time, I'm kind of glad that I didn't actually spend any money on this. I liked it, but it felt like there was a lot going on yet nothing really *happened*. Kind of felt like there was a lot that could have been eliminated or it needed to be greatly expanded on.

This movie is a freakin' delight!
It's one of those movies that is so perfect and well contained that you feel satisfied and aren't longing for a sequel to "explain that one thing...."
It's really well acted, doesn't stall for time, and just keeps the punches coming.

The acting was good and I liked the concept. I especially really liked the relationship between Nurse and Everest, how they interacted together. However I found there were some scenes that added nothing to the story and outcome of the movie. While the main parts of the movie happened within and around the Artemis, the scenes about the riots in LA were too in the background and not fleshed out enough to be meaningful. If they had explained more about that element of the movie, and if it had more of an impact on what the characters were doing, it could have been great.

Hotel Artimis is very underrated in my opinion. It has a very interesting plot, had a very excellent cast, and it had some very good fight scenes. Some people probably came in thinking that it was a rip off John Wick but it was very unique in their own way.

Very strange movie with a plot/storyline that doesn't really work. Too bad - the concept is good, but the movie disappoints.

Very strange movie, not too much of a plot. A great waste of talent, but a fair amount of action near the end. Wish I had not bothered to watch.

I checked out Hotel Artemis with an understanding it would be somewhat like the concept of the hotels in the world of John Wick and on that point I was not disappointed. The plot and the story could have been fleshed out so much more in order to give you a better understanding of the way things worked. Instead, I believed it relied on people's interest in Chevron and of course Winston, but it only took moments to show us how that work with John. This world is not as polished and sophisticated as John's world, it is gritty, grimy and downright ugly. We know Nurse is an alcoholic with a dark past, tied to a little boy, her companion Everest is caring and thoughtful, not just muscle. We learn how she ended up there but not him. So much subplot that was left out which would have made for a more interesting story of the Artemis and it's guests. Instead we get to spend time with arms dealer who is only mildly interesting. The Wolfking barely makes an appearance, as important to the entire story as he his, but Nurse's response to his son's calls are entertaining. There was so much more to this world that could have been shown.

IMDb has some good ones already. Here are those on the rules of the Hotel, most not in IMDb:

Ah, that's against the rules. Yeah, I gotta run checks. You could be a serial, you could be a ped, you could be a terrorist.
===
That is also against the rules. Right there in the membership pack under "do not kill the other patients."
===
But rules are rules. If someone else gets here first, I can't hold the last room for him.
===
This hotel was built on two things, man's fundamental avarice and trust. Now, I break the rules in here, and nasty people got carte blanche to do the same.
===
You're lucky this place has rules.

I broke the rules once before. It worked out pretty good if you remember.
-It was different. I was just a kid.
===
I told you there are rules. I talked about this with...
-Rules, rules, rules. You say rules? Jeanie, without the rule-breakers, honey, where would you be?
===
We've got rules here, lady.
-How I got here, how you got here. The Nurse, too.
The rules keep the outside world fxcking outside, where they belong.
===
You know the rules. You take something from me, I gotta... give you back to the ocean.
===
Of course. She only kills important people.
===
Wait. You can't. That's against the rules!
===
Hey, no killing the other patients! My rule number one! How many times I gotta say it?
===
Apparently, you guys don't know the rules. Visiting hours are never.
===
Oh, what the fxck happened tonight?
-Well, people broke the rules. No guns, no guests, no bombs. No insulting staff, no killing the other patients. And no cops?
