The candid text messages and emails between best friend character duo Ava and Gen keep this character driven book fast paced. Gossipy and high drama plot is revealed through their banter-filled, conversational messages. Ranging from amusing to darkly humorous, this feels like a good conversation with your best friend.

This story is told through text messages and emails from two best friends who have just started going to different universities. They keep each other updated on their crazy lives. Like any friendship they have their ups and downs but always pull through in the end.
I love reading stories when they are told through texts/emails, it just makes the story feel more personal. Rating 3 out of 5 stars.
