The Comic Book Story of Video Games is an enjoyable book that is easy to read and very informative. The history of video games is written in a comic book style with lots of silly yet engaging art work. Though I have been a lifelong gamer, this book has surprised me with lots of information about the beginnings of video games that started well before Atari and Nintendo and began to really take root during World War 2. Whether you have a strong knowledge of video game history or know nothing at all, this would be a great start to get an overview of the history of video games.
