It is important to note that Shirley's talk was acceptable to TED, which has banned any mention of GMOs and/or Monsanto (TED talks are financed by the major banks/corporations: JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and so on). Shirley's talk must not have been that radical or threatening?
