Sarah Miller writes the Little House story from the perspective of Caroline Ingalls or Ma.
She was chosen by the Laura Ingalls Foundation and remained quite true to the original story.
Miller captures the love Ma had for her children, husband and extended family.

What did Ma of Little House on the Prairie think about leaving family in Wisconsin to travel to Kansas with Pa, Mary and Laura. This novel is a retelling of the beloved Wilder classic from Ma's perspective. While the book is enjoyable, it borrows dialogue and plot lines from the original story. A unique rendition of the original.
