This book really is a complete guide to learning how to create rather than follow a pattern. It's scary at first but if you stay with the process you'll be so pleased by what your inner quilter can do. She's been dying to come out and play! Lol. Give this book a try if you're been yearning to step off the grid and create something new from your heart and soul. For me this book was a game changer!!

At first I wasn't sure what to think of this book, but once I got into section 4 - Patchwork Techniques - the lightbulb went off. She sews like I do! But even more so! She has examples of cutting fabric without any rulers. Piecing together scraps without measuring or pinning. Fixing the wonky parts as you go.
This is a book I'll need to come back to in a few months when I've finished some of my "traditional" projects and can dedicate some time to improv projects like these.

I found her instructions on bias strips, binding and double-fold binding informative
