I listened to this audiobook and enjoyed listening to Mr. Yossef's account of his time with Hamas. Every Christian should be required to read the book and listen to the audiobook. Most Christians are totally unaware of what is happening in the Middle East and know what is really happening in the Middle East instead of relying on both CNN and Fox News. As a Christian, it was very educational and we should keep EVERYONE- Jewish and Arabs in our prayers and for peace in the Middle East.

This was a very interesting perspective on the age old Middle East conflict. This is an insider view of the daily politics playing out in Israel/Palestine particularly within the Hamas faction and the Shin Bet - Israel’s security agency. It makes you question the coverage we get through our mainstream news reports of events in the region and what games are really being played behind the scenes by all parties involved.

I did however feel that Mosab’s review was actually too slanted in favor of Israelis over the Palestinians. He focused on the crazy and deadly extremists on the Palestinian side but we don’t hear if there is any effort by the Shin Bet to also track and reign in the equally dangerous extremists on the Israeli side.
