Good Kings, Bad Kings tackles the uncomfortable topic of housing for those with disabilities. Herself a wheelchair user, Nussbaum makes a good stab at conveying the complexities of this topic. It generated heated discussion in my book group. Should be required reading for those interested in Social Work. Staff Pickles.

Insightful look into housing of the disabled. A glimpse at public policy that overlooks importance of providing in-home services to keep families together.

Susan Nussbaum comes out of the gate in her debut novel with a warm and heart-wrenching story of friendship, betrayal and activism.
