Film maker Judy Irving (Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill) makes another very enjoyable and informative movie. Pelicans and birds in general are facing challenging times. Inspiring and dedicated wildlife rescue workers and volunteers doing what they can to help injured birds. Wonderful shots of pelicans and scenery.

Until I saw "Pelican Dreams" I knew very little about pelicans. Turns out they are very special bird. Film maker Judy Irving takes us on a journey of one lost pelican to its new home in a bird sanctuary. This is an ideal film for children. It explains all those questions about the pelican that a child would have. The movie is amusing and inspirational. All told I can't think of a reason not to recommend "Pelican Dreams" as a Five Star Classic!
P.S. If wildlife films are not your cup of tea, please don't hold it against "Pelican Dreams".
