I enjoyed the plot and setting of this story. I didn't really like how the narration alternated between first person and third person though. The characters were likeable and realistic. I thought that the title was clever, and I appreciated the recipes and botanical information.

Thoroughly enjoyed this story. The first 75 pages went slow and then it took off. plan to look for other books by Susan Wittig Albert

Just finished re-reading the whole China Bayles series. A very enjoyable mystery series with the addition of herbal knowledge and recipes. Highly recommend.
