This is a good book that describes the different events or scenarios (spin-offs, bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, securities issued by the company, options, etc.) that one can profit in the stock market. In some parts, the reader may have to read the book carefully to understand the profitable schemes that the author describes. Nevertheless, the time invested in reading and understanding this book is worth it. The author does a good job in implicitly differentiating speculative and value investing transactions. Research and understanding the reports of the company are essential to taking calculated risks. However, as the author warns at the end of the book, a novice investor should be careful in engaging the tools and techniques described in the book.
