Refreshing and extraordinary story, artwork that is consistently great throughout the whole series.

Recommended for readers already familiar with general science fiction and comic books in the last century because Ellis manages to reference just about all of them.

The start of a great sci-fi series with lots of twists.

Ellis blends elements of cyber-punk, 50s sci-fi, and super-hero comics in this exciting series. Read about supernatural archeologists uncovering conspiracies spanning centuries (and crossing into other dimensions). With all the necessary tongue-in-cheek irony, the story manages to work 100% and keep you hooked. Did I mention giant ants à la "Them!"?

Coarse Language: Pretty extreme. Too much for my tastes. Most of it unnecessary
