Great book. Starts a little slow but really picks up into a page turner. Amazing storyline that spans almost fifty years. Highly recommend for fiction, particularly horror or science fiction, fans.

In the top 3 vampire books of all time, AND among the top ten Horror books of all time.

Its that simple.

Engrossing, but could have done with trimming some of the fat.

This book is creepy, scary and totally believable. My only complaint is that the story didn't flow smoothly because it was told from so many different points of view. I'd be completely involved in one perspective then it would suddenly end and I'd have to pick up the thread with someone new. It kept the intensity up but made for choppy transitions. Still it was a good horror novel.
