This is a story within a story, where the child teaches herself to be brave by telling a story to her doll on how to be brave. Nicely told. Easy to relate to for a small child who is going to have to do a performance. And for parents who... struggle... you even get parenting tips in the back of the book. What can I say it made me giggle all the way through.
