An enjoyable book. Hallie Durand's writing and Tony Fucile's illustrations combine to give a very pleasant and heart-warming father-and-son's story. One of the very few books I smiled all the way through. An improvement on "Mitchell's license".

Mitchell's dad (and former car, see Mitchell's License) introduces him to the wonders of bowling. But knocking pins down is harder than it looks and Mitchell is soon frustrated. Luckily, Dad not only knows how to do a steamin' hot potato dance, he also knows exactly what his son needs. Strikes all the right notes! (see what I did there?)
