An astounding pirate takeover of a ship in the high seas that results in dire consequences!

Fantastic film from beginning to end!
Well done- gives a dramatic view of what a hijacking really entails.
Terrifying... in different ways for each character. I had no idea that the shipping company is responsible for coordinating the release of prisoners on board a cargo ship in international waters; that seems like a conflict of interest to me, but what does this mid-westerner know about maritime law? Nothing, that's what. Pilou Asbaek as the persevering ship's cook, and Soren Malling as the overwhelmed shipping company CEO were amazing!
A phenomenal thriller.
Better film than the bigger-budget "Captain Phillips" starring Tom Hanks.

This DVD didn't run neither with Windows Media Center nor with Windows Media player on the blue computer in VPL.
It didn't run on the yellow computer, either.
Probably damaged!?
Very good film- this really is vastly superior to the Tom Hanks film version, as it realistically portrays the tensions and danger that occur in these hijacking situations.
This is an excellent movie, very different from the Tom Hanks pirate movie. Never realized the negotiations went on for so long in these hijackings. A lot of PTSD after this one...
For a hijacking movie, it is surprisingly slow, boring and very little action.
