A woman discovers the literal skeleton in her family's closet in the first Family Skeleton Mystery!

Moving back into her parents' house with her teenage daughter had not been Georgia Thackery's "Plan A." But when she got a job at the local college, it seemed the sensible thing to do. So she settled in and began reconnecting with old friends.

Including Sid. Sid is the Thackery family's skeleton. He's lived in the house as long as Georgia can remember, although no one, including Sid, knows exactly where he came from and how he came to be a skeleton.

Sid walks, he talks, he makes bad jokes, he tries to keep Georgia's dog from considering him a snack. And he manages to persuade Georgia to let him leave the house. But when she takes him to an anime convention--disguised as a skeleton, of course--he sees a woman who triggers memories of his past.

Now he is determined to find out how he died--with Georgia's help. But their investigation may uncover a killer who's still alive and well and bad to the bone...

I find it interesting that the 5 reviews all use the term "cozy mystery".
Were they written by the same person?

I am in love with Sid the Skeleton and his wacky sense of humor. A living skeleton that helps solve murders is such a great storyline for a cozy mystery. I can't wait to read more in the series.

A walking, talking skeleton that loves to make anatomical puns? Sounds ridiculous - and it is. Even the other characters in the book might admit that. But it works! This cozy mystery series is well-written and a heck of a lot of fun!

This is the first in a new cozy series. Funny and heartwarming, I hope there will be a lot more in the series.

This cozy mystery was such fun to read, with an interesting mystery as a plus and I would have finished it in one sitting if I hadn't had too many errands to run and fell asleep early for two days, lol!

If you enjoy quirky humor in TV shows like The Munsters, and Bewitched, then you would love 'Sid' the skeleton in this humorous cozy.He has such a delightful, fun personality, and the relationship between him and the heroine[Georgia] brings even more pleasure to the story.

After an outing to an animime convention where Sid recognizes someone from his past life,he becomes obsessed with finding out his history which he can't remember.Georgia agrees to help and thus begins the very engaging mystery with plenty of humor and dastardly happenings along the way.

I am a Newbie to reading this genre, but I hope to find many more as entertaining to read as this one was. I hope this author writes many more.
