I read this book a few years ago and I think it is one of Mary Balogh's best really enjoyed reading it again a great story of courage and trust.

A little cheesy but every man should read this story on how to treat a lady and have her back. Vincent is a man's man!

I’m a Mary Balogh fan and have read most of her books, this series being my favourite. This book in particular is my absolute favourite and I’ve read it three times. What can I say I’m a hopeless romantic who loves the horse pulled carriages, the rules of being social are rigid, the social class are so different and trauma of the war on this group of people. Spectacular

Nice love story. Enjoy this author.

This is another author I enjoy reading, even though I am reading this series out of order the books are a story in themselves., Very good book.,
