I'm a big Ruth Rendell fan and, although this isn't my favorite of her books, I really enjoyed it. The plot seems so unlikely but the very well-drawn psychological underpinning of each character makes it very engaging and believable.

This is a great story. Takes a while to get used to all the different characters . A real page turner with a good ending.
