The pacing didn't match up,scenes that didn't go anywhere dragged on too long, the plot was geared to a dramatic conclusion & lazily decides to give the audience a more acceptable conclusion which makes this film not very memorable.

Can you imagine Charlie Sheen as a sweet natured high school kid? You will after seeing this wonderful film about 3 kids: Lucas, a bespectacled outsider (Corey Haim) determined to win the love of his best friend Maggie (even if it means getting trounced by the football team) and his best friend, a jock with a soft side (played by Sheen). Never predictable, this is one of the few movies about high school romance that feels real. Look for Winona Ryder in a small part as the kid who has a crush on Lucas! -
