Amazing photographs of 20 different kinds of snakes are matched with fascinating facts that explain how they are “strange, secretive and surprising.”

Snakes are not scary; shame on you for perpetuating this untruth. Snakes are warm, beautiful creatures who have special adaptations for their environment. Not all snakes are harmful to humans; however, they all should be treated with respect. Lovely book!
