I enjoyed this brief biography of the famous inventor because what I learned in school about him, was not memorable enough to make reading about him boring. The photos are fabulous and encourages one to complete the page if reading itself is a chore. His story told in less than 150 pages and does remind the readers for who It is almost impossible to imagine life without electricity and especially electric lights of his importance. I am sure that although the phonograph is an important invention of Edison's, its not the phonograph he is remembered for most, but lights. That he had an invention factory is also important for everyone to know as it was a super success.
