Unbeknownst to me before reading, part of this follows Final Crisis, so if you haven't read that you'll be jumping into an existing arc. This collects: Time and the Batman, RIP: The Missing Chapter, and The Great Escape. Time and the Batman is written by Grant Morrison, so it's superfluous to say that it's high concept, a bit confusing and really cool. "Time bullets". Whoa.

After the time-bending is through, The Great Escape is a real light read that is jarring after the first two, but hearkens back to the Caped Crusader-type one-offs with Dick Grayson and Damien Wayne as the new Dynamic Duo. The gallery at the end is really cool as well.
