A story about a kid hallucinating about adventures with his toys. Nice art. Runs a bit longer than it needs.

Grant Morrison has done it again. With the amazing artwork combined with the story, it was a great mini-series. Also, the story is easy to follow if you read it twice.

Really nice artwork but the story fell sort of flat to me. It's /very/ reminicent of the "Never Ending Story" which makes the ending rather perdictable.

More trippiness from Grant Morrison, but with more youthful whimsy than he usually indulges in. Fast-paced, funny, touching, and weird. And the art by Sean Murphy is terrific! A lovely fantasy adventure.

I'm sorry Morrison, but this one just missed the mark for me. I found it strangely hard to focus on the dialogue and found the world to be rather dull in a way that both contrasted and echoed the art. I wish I liked this book more, but I really couldn't even be bothered.

A nice story about a scary moment for Joe when he starts to have Diabetic attack he gets thrust into a fantasy world. Really outside of a swear word and it not being about superheros it shouldn't be considered a vertigo book. The coolest part is all the action figures (including LOBO!)
