A terribly old fashioned early talkie that was Delores Del Rio's first big hit. Joel Mcrea is perfectly dreamy. The film is notorious for a nude swimming scene but it's purely wholesome by today's standards. I didn't finish the movie, Del Rio speaks some kind of island language and the sound is poor. The story seemed very predictable, western man falls for beautiful island girl, you get the picture. Purely for fans of classic movies, a curio.
