I have enjoyed the other two books I read of Jessica Brody's. But this one I didn't like as much. I still enjoyed the main character. Lexington was a spoiled brat heiress, but I understood why she was a spoiled brat heiress. I loved her growth throughout the book, and her journey was enjoyable. However, I hated her father. So very much. It was because of how he raised her, or rather, *didn't* raise her that lead to her being a spoiled brat heiress, and then had the audacity to punish her for it. I wanted to see more growth from him, and didn't get that. So the ending was a little flat for me. But it has the usual enjoyable Jessica Brody style. So I can still recommend it, though I preferred the other two I've read over this one.

Fun, great characters, got to understand how some of those spoiled brats become that way. The ending was a bit rushed but overall a great read.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and although Lexi started out as the classic spoiled rich brat, she became a very loveable character by the end. I'd recommend this book if you are looking for a light, fun story (as in no supernatural stuff) that also has some deeper meaning and leaves you with a nice feeling by the end.
