Add a CommentThe story grabbed me from the beginning and kept me reading to see how things would work out for Lizzie. Good character development as Lizzie struggles with emotions from her past and the problems she encounters in the present. I found I was disappointed by the ending, though. It was too abrupt and I would have liked to see the heroine more involved. The very last chapter had too much "telling" of what had happened, rather than showing it in a scene. It also came across as too light-hearted considering one of the things that came to light. Overall, though, I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to the next one in this new series.
