May the 4th Be with You!
May the 4th has been adopted by fans as Star Wars Day due to its similarity to the movie's catchphrase, "May the Force be with you." With Episode VII slated to open December 18, 2015, interest in the series is intensifying again. But let's not forget where the phenomenon began. During it its initial release in 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope earned $215 million in the U.S. alone. While the film… (more)
Star Bard and Other Star Wars Fun
To say that Star Wars: The Force Awakens is highly anticipated is like saying Elizabeth I was a queen of England. There's so much more. And what better way to prepare than to look at the lighter side of this iconic franchise? If you are a Star Wars fan and are looking for a good laugh, check out this book by Jeffrey Brown. It’s got short one-page comic book clips showing scenarios of what Darth Vader would be like as a father raising his 4-year-old son, Luke. So funny! I actually laughed out loud – and I am not really a Star Wars fan. I think a fan would appreciate it even more. Enjoyable and a quick read! Sequel alert: Vader’s Little Princess (submitted by DS)
SO many puns and nerdy references, this was good for a laugh!
This book is hilarious! Vader's Little Princess is also really funny, if you liked this one.
I love this one! If you liked this one, read Vader's Little Princess, same author.
I like it but too bad its a boy...
I like jeffrey brown's books.
they're really funny.
Cute cartoon book for parents of young children.
Jeffrey Brown’s - Darth Vader and Son, clearly mislabelled as an Adult – Graphic Novel & Comic. It should have been rated as Juvenile. Hilarious; should be rated for children but teens and adults will find it funny too. Doctor-at-Bass! T. A.
This is so funny. Parenting is the real danger in Vader's life here, and it is fraught with peril.
My only complaint is that this is more for parents than kids.
