A mix of historical fiction and legend, set in 6th century Britain, this book is a different take on the Trystan and Isolde legend, with Isolde as the granddaughter of King Arthur. Although I wished the pace to be a little faster, I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the second one.

I love this book! This series is so amazing. The legend of Tristan/Trystan and Isolde is so extraordinary.

I may need to re read this sometime - i got bored after the first 150 pages, probably because I was reading a book in a similar vein that held my attention much better.
