The time-lines are categorized by subject as well as years, and I read all of them except the ones about wars. I was especially interested in things dinvented in my lifetime, or shortly before, and how it was often 15 or 20 years before they became easily available for us. For instance, the microwave oven was invented and used during WW II to prepare food for the soldiers. It was 1967 before I saw one for the first time.
