I wasn't a big fan of Sampras but liked him much better because of this book. Sampras didn't deviate from incidents that might reveal his flaws and fears. The writing was simple, candid and factual and made me believe it was a true story directly coming from him.
The appendix where he talked about his main rivals was a nice touch for tennis enthusiasts.

Interesting to see the game from the point of view of one of my favorite tennis stars. The book however reads more like an internal monologue and Sampras does not really connect with his readers.
