This is mostly how I remember it, though I forgot a lot of the specific events that happen. The Jace/Clary thing is still weird, Simon is still my favorite. I think Clare is one of those that gets better with time? At least, that's what I remember.

I recently read the book: City of Ash, by Cassandra Clare. The second book to the Mortal Instruments series this is an amazing book. The book jumps right in from the first describing the characters and what each of them are going through. In the last book we found out something really big and it starts impacting the characters even more. In this book you get to see more of Jace’s character. He’s experiencing lots of betrayal and his emotions are clouded by everything else around him. Clary is stronger than ever throughout this book, doing anything she has to do to help her mother. Both Clary and Jace lean towards Luke for support which I really like. Throughout this book we are also introduced to various bits and pieces of romance. I really enjoy the love triangle between some of the characters. Overall I rate this book 5/5.

The second book in the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare, it is set a few weeks after the first one. This book is on the same level with the first for me because, while he writing has approved, it is still the range of boring and hard reading like the previous. It is my least favourite book in the series because of a specific element, but my favourite character does get a good treatment by the middle of the book. Cassandra Clare’s characters is what keeps the series going throughout this book, even if I don't agree with certain things, I can't deny that I still enjoyed reading this one. 3/5 Stars.

I've tried downloading this on my computer and my phone but keep receiving a Russian translation of the book...? Any idea why?
