The story of Disfarmer is the story of a photographer and his engagement with his town and subjects.
There's something desolate about Bill Frissell's music, but a feeling of longing and yearning that I think we have as photographers.
We love to look at our subjects and sometimes hate to see them at the same time.
There's also the struggle to make a living and our engagement with the idea of what we want to do and what we need to do and the difficulty in knowing which is which when you live a lifetime of it.
i guess the question is always - what else would I be doing.
Beautiful music for the photographers soul. if you like jazz, country and electronica - pretty much if you like music - you'll like this.
