Book 3 (and final) of the Shadowdwellers series, preceded by Rapture; and followed by the next series the World of the Nightwalkers starting with Forbidden. This book was great as it was a double feature. It started with a sexy story of Sagan, a powerful penance priest who was taken hostage by Acadian, and rescued by Valera, a human naturally born witch who overcame her addiction to necromancer spells and who only uses magic for good deeds or healing. The second story was of Malaya, the Chancellor of all Shadowdwellers, twin sister of Tristan, and her bodyguard, Guin, who was in love with her for the last 50 years. A great ending to the series.
