Add a Summaryedward returns for bella and jacob ain't too happy bout that. soon bellas life is in danger and vampires have to learn to work together with werewolves.
Eclipse returns us to the town of Forks and find that nothing much has changed. Graduation is closer than ever (after which, the Cullen's have agreed to make Bella a vampire) and a serial killer is loose in Seattle. Bella cannot see Jacob, her best friend because he is a Werewolf, and due to her ties to the vampires, it would break treaties and bonds made between them.
As the days go by, and graduation gets closer and closer, Bella must choose her fate. She wants to become immortal and be with Edward, but she must give up her family to do so. She is also worried about the change: will she be able to be "vegetarian" like the Cullen Family, and refrain from human blood? Or will her new blood lust cause her to kill innocent people?
The serial killer that is in Seattle turns out to be supernatural: newborn vampires on the loose. This brings up even more issues for Bella and her decision to become immortal. Not that anything could ever persuade her to give Edward up, but it makes the choice more difficult by showing her the realities of becoming a vampire.
Without spoiling the plot: Jacob wants more from Bella too, which makes the choice even more difficult. Must Bella choose between the love of her life and her best friend?
Eclipse is yet another installment of a series I desperately hope will continue. I want to continue watching the characters grow and change, and find out what their lives will unfold to be like. I am already anxious for the next in the series! Write more, Stephenie Meyer!
Eward and bella gets engaged. JAcobn falls and in love with bella. The newborns and victoria come and try to kill bella. Jacob froces/tricks bella into kissing him and bella trys to have sex with edward but he syas no but when he does she dosent't then they graduate from high schol. In the fight with victoria the cullens and the werewolf team up
Bella Swan who we know moved from living with her mom, to living with her dad in forks. The relationship between Bella and Edward seems to be getting stronger, but so does the relationship between Bella and Jake. Although what do you do when an "Old Friend" is coming back to town for revenge, and there are baby vampires loose in Seattle?

Comment
Add a CommentI really enjoyed this book. The tension between vampires and werewolves, the mysterious killings, it's all very fascinating and leaves you turning the page for more. Edward is a bit controlling over Bella's friendship with Jacob, but Bella also sneaks around Edward. Toxic relationship. Overall the series evolves nicely and has events occur that make the plot interesting throughout.
Team Jacob Or Team Edward? This book will help you decide.
Eclipse is the 3rd book from the Twilight series. It continues the story from where
it was left off in the second book. In this book, Bella finds herself in danger again
when a series of murders in Seattle break out. Edward suspects it’s the work of a
vampire out for revenge. But the Cullens can’t fight them alone; they need help
from Jacob and the werewolves to make sure Bella is unharmed. However, now
Bella has to choose between Edward and Jacob, and she can’t do so without
feeling guilty for hurting either one of them. She also has to choose between
becoming a vampire or staying human. Will she marry Edward and become
immortal? Or will she choose Jacob and live life to a normal extent?
My favorite quote from the book was “What would happen to the things I want
now?” It really stood out to me because I think that we’re so busy with everything
that’s going on in our lives, that sometimes we don’t even realize how much
we’ve changed. All our likes, dislikes, interests and wants change, and we don’t
even pay attention to that. It made me realize how short life is, and that we should
enjoy every moment because we don’t know what the future might bring. So
maybe we should pay more attention to what we want, and not to what others
might think.
I think anyone who has started reading the series would definitely like to read
this. After all, you can’t start a series and leave it halfway through. Even if you’re
not the biggest Twilight fan, you must be curious to find out what happens. This
the book version, which has been made into a movie series. So if you’re not
interested in reading the series, you can still watch the movies! I would definitely
recommend this series to anyone who’s interested in the romance genre and
loves to read about the supernatural, because this series is a great mix of that.
Eclipse is my favorite Twilight book. I love it. I'm reading it for my 4th time right now!
The whole Twilight series is AMAZING!!!!!
l think Eclipse was my favourite..........
SUCH A GOOD BOOK!!!👍👍👍
This is a soap opera, but at least this one had more detail about the vampire world that was fascinating. It also so many cool back stories about the Cullens. It was great learning about Alice and Rosalie and the gang. Bella's mix-up with Edward and Jacob is frustrating to me - because once again she does not do anything to help explain why what is happening is happening. As someone who read cheap little romance novels and knows about vampire lifemate dynamics from other more competent authors - who make a point of explaining it. It's not hard for me to make the jump, but I shouldn't have to explain that possible dynamic to everyone who reads a series.
This was amazing! I loved it! It really challenged Bella and Edward’s love and it showed how strong it was. The love triangle was crazy and was full of drama. In this book I fell in love with Jacob. He was just so sweet. Edward was also sweet, but my heart has always belonged with Jacob. This book also had a lot of negative reviews, but I enjoyed it a lot. This book has always held a special place in my heart. My heart always flutters when I read this book. I have cried so many times for Jacob, he never wanted to let go of Bella and that just broke my heart into pieces. Stephanie Meyer did not disappoint me with the third book of the Twilight Saga. Eclipse was an original classic love story with of course Meyer’s own touch of magic. It was wonderful being able to read this book. But I was a bit confused on who Bella loved. I am not going to explain why because I feel like I am spoiling it too much, but I think readers will understand what I mean. This was just perfect; I give it a five out of five. @Nat of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
Out of all the books in the twilight series, Eclipse was one of the more enjoyable ones, in my opinion. I thought this book seemed a bit faster paced than New Moon or Breaking Dawn and contained a lot more action. The second half of this book was especially exciting and will have you reading through it really fast to find out what happens next. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the first two books or to fans of the Twilight movies. I would give this book a rating of 9/10 stars because I really enjoyed it. I would also recommend reading the novella “The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner” which fits in right between Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.

Violent, fresh, and engaging, 'Eclipse' is the thrilling third book of Meyer's bestselling series. Packed with romance, witty characters, and an army of vampires hungering for Bella's blood, this book will not disappoint.
Love it
This book.
Well.
I think this book has converted me. Until now I didn't ship anyone. I wasn't team anyone.
I'm still not on team Anyone.
But I am certainly not on team Jacob.
The werewolf should be eliminated. He is vile and cruel and manipulative and I officially hate him.
Why. Why. Why. WHY doesn't anyone listen to Bella when she goes on about how she messed everything up?? She DID mess everything up??
Honestly Edward stop. Just stop. Just stop being yourself, it's annoying.
And as much as I couldn't care less if Bella ends up with Edward, I'll be satisfied.
So long as she isn't with the dog.
