Hair-pulling manipulations of the truth and its evil twin- alternative facts, and the perilous crossing of morality lines are big issues this season.
Some high tension action, some skewering, jostling of power politics and some personal heartbreak for poor Carrie, the postergirl for mental health challenges.
Watch for an emotional courtroom scene with Maggie, Carrie's sister.
I love this series but am disappointed at lack of anything regarding their more personal lives. I would like to see Hannah meet her half sister. That family has been totally taken out of the picture yet Carrie's daughter is related to that family. Nothing ever became of her discovery that she has a half brother. Does she have any interest in him or her mother? The constant action wears me out and it could use a little slowing down at times for personal things...time to breathe.
We are huge fans of this series, but this season left us wanting what we have gotten in the past- fullness. Perhaps a transition season, they closed things up, but didn't fully open up any new thing; it did lack the excitement that is it's trademark.

Wonderful series! Lots of action, great acting, fast-paced!!! We had to binge on this - too good to turn off.... Very much enjoyed this one!
After 7 years I have burned out on Carrie's bipolar disorder and the espionage game. Did not like this season. Kristi & Abby Tabby
Timely subject. They're keeping the show relevant.
Starts slow but builds to a surprising dramatic crescendo. Must see TV.
